Huron Men’s Track secured the 3rd place banner at the Metro Classic Invitational on Saturday. Luke Dulecki delivered the standout individual performance for the team, claiming the Metro Classic Champion title in the 3200M run, clocking an impressive sub-10-minute time of 9:54.37 PR. The 4×400M relay team, narrowly missing the school record, sprinted to victory in 3:28.83, led by Shaun Folkwein, Kyle Biller, Lucas Kuhn, and Hunter Mihal also emerged with a championship title and coveted custom relay batons. Kuhn earned runner-up recognition in both the 800M and 1600M runs. Additionally, Dylan Hudkins earned runner-up in the 110M hurdles and 3rd place in the 300M hurdles. Other standout performances were Hunter Mihal coming in at 3rd in the 400M dash and Cayden Kilby 3rd place in the high jump.

Avery Turk emerged as the top scorer, claiming 4th place in the 300M hurdles and contributing to the 6th place finish in the 4×200M relay alongside Savanna Rupnow, Brielle Musallam, and Lily Bermudez. Olivia Pryor showcased her speed, finishing 4th in the 100M dash and contributing to the 7th place finish in the 4×100M relay with Jordan Hickey, Natalie Carlile, and Lily Bermudez. Additional medals were earned with Falyn Doss securing 4th place in the 3200M run and MacKenzie Whitehill claiming 7th place in shot put, while Natalie Carlile achieved 8th place in pole vault.
