In our final regular season showdown, Huron Men’s Track competed head to head against SMCC, Grosse Ile, and Riveriver in a Quad meet. Huron triumphed convincingly over SMCC with a score of 110 to 17 and Grosse Ile with a solid 92 to 38. However, they faced a tough challenge against Riverview, ultimately falling short with a score of 51 to 77. Despite the mixed outcomes, the Chiefs showcased their dominance, securing first place overall in six events. Dylan Hudkins clinched first place against all three teams in both the 110M and 300M hurdles, Hunter Mihal in the 400M dash, Lucas Dulecki in the 3200M Run, and Cameron Crane in the pole vault. In another intense run down, the 4×400M relay seized the top spot with Shaun Folkwein, Kyle Biller, Vit Ulman, and Hunter Mihal.

Once more, the Huron Women’s Track team faced closely contested matchups this season, with the competition intensifying until the final event. They narrowly missed victory against Grosse Ile, with a score of 60 to 68, and Riverview, with a close margin of 59.5 to 67.5. The Chiefs faced a tough defeat against SMCC with a score of 50 to 78. Natalie Carlile soared to new heights, surpassing her school record in the pole vault with an impressive clearance of 8’0”, ultimately securing first place overall in the event. The Chiefs’ 4×200M relay team consisting of Lily Bermudez, Brielle Musallam, Avery Turk, and Savanna Rupnow emerged victorious, clinching first place against all competing teams.
